About Meeting of the Masters 2007

This Conference is an Open Invitation Event
Men, women, boys, and girls, regardless of denominational affiliation, martial arts style, rank, age, race, or ability, are encouraged to participate in and benefit from the Christian martial arts training.

Special Guest Instructor:
Kyoshi Eddie Bethea: 8th Degree Black Belt. After 34 years of teaching, Kyoshi Bethea operates one of the most successful traditional martial arts studios in Kokomo, Indiana. Bethea began training in Okinawa with Shugoro Nakazato in 1966 and is now the style head for Kobayashi Shorin Ryu. Kyoshi Bethea believes it is his responsibility and his God-given mission to teach as he has and will teach karate for the remainder of his life.

John Venson: 8th degree black belt in Shuri-Ryu, Trias International Society recipient, received Bronze Star for Gallantry and Heroism in Marine Reconnaissance Unit (Vietnam War), chief instructor of Just for Kicks Karate, 8 time World Karate Champion (Chicago, IL)
