GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN – GMAU Executive Director, Dr. J.R. Russell and GMAU Academy Directors Kevin Calhoun and Ross Moore made a trip from GMAU HQ in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Wyoming, Michigan (a suburb of Grand Rapids), on Saturday, January 31, to award GMAU certified instructor Bill Church with the title of "SOKE".

The award, made by Dr. Russell on behalf of the GMAU Board of Directors, was presented to Mr. Church at a major Open House event hosted by the staff and students at Crusader Martial Arts. The Open House celebration was to commemorate the completion of the 12,000 square foot facility recently opened by Mr. Church and his school, Crusader Martial Arts.

It was a blessing to see GMAU Instructors Ray Sinclair and Phil Lewis, as well as other GMAU members from Marc England's GMAU school, in attendance to show support for the event.
